I am working with a fantastic residential SEND school in the South East London area that supports children and young people with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH), autism, and associated learning difficulties. This school offers a warm, family-like environment where students are supported both emotionally and academically to reach their full potential.
Your Responsibilities:

Supporting students with behaviour, emotional regulation, and social skills
-
Building positive, trusting relationships
-
Helping create a calm, safe, and structured environment
-
Supporting students in the classroom, on-site, and in the community
-
Writing simple reports and observations
The Ideal Behaviour Mentor would be:
-
Calm, patient and resilient
-
Experience with young people who have SEMH, autism, or challenging behaviour (in schools, youth work, care or similar)
-
A team player who can remain positive and professional
-
A driver is a bonus but not essential
-
Sporty, creative or enjoy being outdoors? Even better!
