We are looking for compassionate and dedicated tutors to provide one-to-one educational support for secondary students with special educational needs (SEN) and mental health challenges in Essex.
- Pay: £15-£25 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
- Hours: Flexible, between 9-30 hours per week, term-time only
- Location: Community outreach, working directly with students in a 1:1 setting
Role Description:
As a tutor, you will deliver bespoke educational support to secondary students who find it difficult to thrive in mainstream school settings. This role involves working closely with students to address their specific learning needs, helping them regain confidence and make progress in their studies.
What You Need:
- Previous experience working with students, particularly those with SEN or mental health challenges, is beneficial but not essential
- A passion for education and a desire to help young people succeed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a caring nature
