Join an inclusive setting where effective learning takes place when hope is instilled, small wins are celebrated and building positive relationships makes a difference to a child’s life trajectory.

About the role

You will be a part of a fantastic, experienced SEND team that collaborate to create exciting, personalised learning opportunities for their Early Years learners. This specialist school supports a range of complex needs, including ASC between the ages of 3 to 11.

About yourself

This role is a brilliant opportunity for someone with an Early Years Teacher Status who is seeking to excel their career from a nursery setting, or an individual who holds or is working towards a Qualified Teacher Status with strong knowledge of early child development. A confident individual who can work closely with professionals, including therapists, nurses and support staff as part of a wider team is desirable to ensure the development of the children is exemplary. You will be knowledgeable in delivering personalised sensory and play-based curriculum to a small class of pupils in the Early Years Foundation stage. A nurturing personality with a passion to support unique children to flourish is essential.

About the school

This inclusive school has four campuses accommodating pupils from ages 3 to 19 with SEND; they provide empowering opportunities for children with special educational needs that strive to break down barriers to each unique child’s learning. They value an inclusive community that encourages creativity, positivity and kindness that equips children with skills that prepare them for a successful future. Children are encouraged to be independent by learning to develop their self-care skills, boosting their self-esteem and ensuring each child feels valued and respected. By being a part of a treasured SEND professional team, you will be in a supportive culture that offers continuous career development, inclusivity and opportunities to make a genuine difference within your career.
