Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference?
We are working with a highly regarded specialist SEND school in Enfield that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their KS3 Complex Needs provision from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and collaborative team, working with pupils with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, communication needs and a range of complex additional needs. The school is committed to providing outstanding support for both its pupils and staff, creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading lessons and covering classes in the teacher's absence
- Delivering targeted interventions and small group learning sessions
- Supporting pupils with complex learning, communication and sensory needs
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to achieve positive outcomes
- Encouraging independence, communication and social development
- Supporting the delivery of EHCP targets and personalised learning programmes
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment where every pupil can thrive
