This inclusive SEN Primary and Secondary school are looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Facilitator to join their team.
From the moment you step foot into this setting, you will discover a nurturing environment that supports their pupils throughout their education journey. With exceptional facilities such as a sensory room and a movement room, this setting strives to ensure their pupils are fully supported day to day.
Within this role you will be supporting a wide range of additional needs by helping them access lessons as well as working alongside class teachers, other support staff and the SENDCo to help support pupils’ Education, Health and Care Plan’s. These needs may include, SEMH, ASC and speech and language needs. To help develop your career you will receive ongoing training, this includes Thrive training, Safeguarding, Essex Steps and many more.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will provide 1:1 or small group support with learning activities inside, or outside the classroom.
- Encourage pupils’ independence, communication and confidence.
- Support routines, transitions and help create a calm and structured environment.
