A welcoming primary school with an inclusive environment is seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant to join their exceptional team in September. The school provides sensory rooms, outdoor learning spaces, as well as interventions such as PECS and other programmes that are tailored to support the individual needs of the child.
The role involves working with a small group of children, including 1:1 support, with SEND needs such as ASC, ADHD, speech and language and SEMH. You will be working closely with the teacher and SENDCO to implement strategies and promote their academic, social and emotional development.
This role would suit someone who is patient, resilient, positive and has a true passion for supporting children’s milestones. Whether you already have experience supporting children with SEND or are seeking to start your career in education, this role could be for you!
