Here at Parker Smith Inclusion, we are currently working with a warm and inclusive primary special school in the East London area. This school has a focus on communication, due to most pupil’s being pre-verbal and supported by alternative techniques such as PECS, Makaton and a truly child-centred and sensory informed curriculum. With outdoor learning spaces and exceptional soft play, this school truly targets their pupil’s enrichment.
Throughout this role you will be working alongside other staff, such as Occupational Therapists and Speech & Language Therapists, giving you ongoing support and the opportunity to continuously grow and learn.
Due to smaller class sizes (around eight pupils and four staff members) it allows for close and meaningful relationships while supporting each pupil to their individual needs.
