Location: Sutton and Merton, London | Start Date: ASAP | Contract: Full-time | Salary: £90 - £95 per day (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team, supporting students with Autism, Complex Needs, Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD and social and emotional needs.

Support & Supervision: Provide tailored support to all students, ensuring their safety and full access to learning and therapeutic activities, including Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) and Occupational Therapy (OT).

Individual Programmes: Assist in developing and delivering Individual Programmes of Academic and Pastoral Support, working collaboratively with teaching and therapy teams.

Positive Relationships: Build constructive and purposeful relationships with students, actively engaging with them in all aspects of school life.

Inclusion & Behaviour: Promote the inclusion of every student, including those displaying challenging behaviours, fostering a culture of respect and understanding.

Interactive Learning: Encourage participation in class activities and peer interactions, supporting learning through teacher-led initiatives.

Promote Growth: Set high expectations to nurture self-esteem, independence, and personal development.
What We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people with Autism and/or special educational needs (SEN)

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful connections

A calm, proactive, and patient approach to managing behaviour and supporting development

A team player with a passion for inclusion and holistic education

Confidence using technology to support learning and engagement
