Parker Smith Inclusion are looking for an experienced SEN professional to join a supportive SEND provision within a welcoming primary school in Stanmore, Harrow.
About the role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to pupils with additional needs, creating a calm and structured environment where they can learn and develop.
You will be supported by experienced SEND Teaching Assistants and will work closely with colleagues to ensure pupils receive consistent and personalised support.
The role requires someone who can combine strong teaching with effective behaviour management, patience and the ability to adapt their approach to individual pupils.

The school is an inclusive primary school in Stanmore, Harrow, committed to removing barriers to learning and supporting pupils to reach their potential.
Its SEND provision provides specialist support for pupils with additional needs while maintaining a strong focus on inclusion, progress and wellbeing.
The role
You will be responsible for:

Planning and delivering differentiated lessons

Creating a structured and positive learning environment

Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
-
Managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently

Working closely with experienced SEND Teaching Assistants

Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly

Building positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
-
Supporting pupils' wider social and emotional development
Who we are looking for
This role requires someone with genuine SEN experience.
You do not necessarily need QTS. We are open to both qualified and unqualified teachers, provided you have the right experience and confidence to lead teaching within a SEND setting.
You will need to demonstrate:

Strong experience working with SEND pupils

Excellent behaviour management skills

Confidence leading teaching
