As an experienced teacher, whether in a mainstream or SEN setting, you want to deliver the very best for your students. However, sometimes your goals, standards and the impact you have are diluted by the environment in which you are working. This is a change to change that and propel your teaching career in the right direction.

About the school:

A specialist school in Ealing providing a supportive and highly structured environment for children and young people aged 4 to 19 years old. The school offers personalised education for pupils with SEND, particularly those with autism and complex communication needs.

With a strong focus on individual progress and wellbeing, the school combines tailored learning pathways with therapeutic and sensory support, helping pupils develop communication, independence, and essential life skills within a nurturing setting.

Key features include:

  • Specialist provision for SEND, particularly autism and complex needs
  • Individualised learning programmes and structured support
  • Strong focus on communication, sensory regulation, and wellbeing
  • High staff-to-pupil ratios with therapeutic input
  • Safe and nurturing environment promoting independence and positive outcomes

About the role:

You will be responsible for leading a mixed KS3/KS4 class for students with Autism and associated learning needs. As the school delivers tailored pathways shadowing core subjects, you will be required to effectively scaffold learning personalised to the needs of each individual student.

Who this role will suit:

If you are someone feeling stagnant in your teaching career and are looking for a new environment to develop your career further, this will be the role for you. You will be given the opportunity to work alongside Senior Leaders who have spent over a decade at the school nurturing the environment from the ground up.

You will be given the opportunity to express your teaching experience while gaining valuable support and training to help your areas of development to help take your teaching to the next level.
