This role is ideal for an experienced SEN Teacher, SEND Teacher, or Primary/Secondary Teacher with a strong background in supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and global developmental delay.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN.
- Support students with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, dyslexia, and speech & language difficulties.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes confidence, communication, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to provide effective support and track pupil progress.
- Use a variety of teaching approaches and resources to inspire every child to achieve their best.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or (QTLS)
- Previous experience working as a SEN Teacher, SEND Teacher, or Special Needs Teacher (Primary or Secondary).
- Strong knowledge of SEN strategies, individual education plans (IEPs), and behaviour management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs.
