Parker Smith Inclusion is excited to be working with an outstanding school in Basildon that is looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity to support children with special educational needs, focusing on students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing 1:1 and group support to children with SEN, ensuring they have access to a tailored education plan.
- Assisting the classroom teacher in implementing strategies that support individual student needs, helping them engage with the curriculum.
- Working with the SENCO to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that promote personal growth and academic development.
- Offering social, emotional, and academic support, helping students navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
- Promoting independence and building confidence in students with ASD and ADHD, encouraging positive behavior and peer interactions.

- Pay: £85 - £100 per day (PAYE)
- Hours: Full-time, term-time only
