The Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join.
You will play a vital role in helping students access learning, build confidence and develop essential life skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups with their learning and social development
- Assisting teachers in delivering individualised learning plans
- Managing behaviour calmly and positively
- Helping to prepare resources and maintain a supportive classroom environment
- Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have a passion for working with young people and their families
- Have experience supporting children with autism or other SEN
- Possess strong communication and behavioural management skills
- Are patient, compassionate, determined and hardworking
- Want to be part of a caring, professional team that puts children first
