The Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join.

You will play a vital role in helping students access learning, build confidence and develop essential life skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups with their learning and social development
  • Assisting teachers in delivering individualised learning plans
  • Managing behaviour calmly and positively
  • Helping to prepare resources and maintain a supportive classroom environment
  • Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff

  • Have a passion for working with young people and their families
  • Have experience supporting children with autism or other SEN
  • Possess strong communication and behavioural management skills
  • Are patient, compassionate, determined and hardworking
