SEN Teaching Assistant – Merton

We are working with a wonderful specialist SEN school in Merton that supports children and young people aged 3 to 19 with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), Anxiety and Social and Emotional needs.
This is a long-term, full-time SEN Teaching Assistant position, ideal for anyone passionate about making a positive impact in special education.
About the role:
- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping them access the curriculum and reach personal goals
- Using creative and sensory strategies to engage and motivate learners
- Promoting communication, confidence, and independence
- Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Supporting students’ emotional regulation and well-being
