SEN Teaching Assistant – Stanmore, Harrow
- Location: Stanmore, Harrow
- Daily Pay Rate: £90–£100 per day PAYE (dependant on experience)
- Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Schools across Stanmore, Harrow are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of additional learning needs in primary, secondary and SEN environments. This role suits someone passionate about helping children build communication skills, confidence and independence.
Role Overview
- Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with autism and other SEND needs
- Assist with communication, social interaction and emotional regulation strategies
- Support teachers with structured learning activities and daily routines
- Contribute to a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND, particularly autism
- Calm, patient and supportive approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passionate about helping learners achieve their potential
