About the Role

Some of the most rewarding moments in education happen quietly: when a pupil who once struggled finally feels understood and takes pride in their achievements. In this role, you’ll make that difference every single day.

We are partnering with a specialist SEN school in Northolt that supports children and young people aged 3 to 19 with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD), and Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

This long-term, full-time position is perfect for anyone passionate about making a meaningful impact in special education.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups to access the curriculum and achieve personal goals
  • Using creative and sensory strategies to engage and motivate learners
  • Promoting communication, confidence, and independence
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
  • Supporting students’ emotional regulation and well-being

About the School

  • Supportive, inclusive environment with small class sizes
  • Collaborative multi-disciplinary team (teachers, therapists, support staff)
  • Strong leadership and professional development opportunities
  • Training pathways for those looking to progress into teaching or therapy
  • Positive, child-centred ethos that celebrates every student’s progress

About You

  • Caring, patient, and genuinely passionate about supporting children with special educational needs
  • May be a recent graduate (Psychology, Education, Child Development, etc.) or have previous experience in schools, care, or youth support
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to helping every pupil thrive
