SEN Teaching Assistant - Ealing 

 

Are you looking for a new role as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Southall, Ealing? If so, this may be the perfect role for you. Parker Smith Inclusion are working alongside an 'Outstanding' SEN School who are seeking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a mixed primary class of KS1 and KS2 students with Autism and associated learning needs. This will be a full-time, long-term position starting immediately with the opportunity to go permanent upon review. The daily rate will range from £90 to £100 PAYE dependent on your experience. 

 

About the school:

  • Independent special school based in the borough of Ealing 

  • Provides education for autistic children and young people aged 4 to 22

  • All students have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

  • Supports a wide range of communication, social, sensory and learning needs through highly personalised provision

  • Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, with strengths in quality of education, leadership and personal development

  • Led by an experienced management team focused on creating a safe, structured and nurturing environment that supports positive outcomes and preparation for adulthood

 

About the role:

  • £90 to £100 PAYE per day, dependent on experience

  • Full-time, long-term position with the opportunity to go permanent

  • Mixed primary class of KS1 and KS2 students

  • Supporting students with Autism and/or associated learning needs on a 1:1 basis 

  • Working collaboratively with Teachers and SEN professionals

  • Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Available full-time, 5 days a week

  • Be able to work from 08:30 am to 04:00 pm

  • Able to support students with Autism and/or associated learning needs

  • Previous experience supporting students with SEN in a personal or professional setting

  • Patient and calm with a positive and proactive approach to learning
