Are you ready to make a genuine difference in a student’s life every single day? In this role, your support will not just help students learn but it will help them build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging that stays with them far beyond the classroom.

About the school:

A large, all-through school in Ealing offering education from early years through to sixth form. The school provides a broad and inclusive learning environment, with a strong commitment to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

With a focus on personalised learning and inclusion, the school ensures that all pupils can access a balanced curriculum, supported by specialist staff, adaptive teaching strategies, and strong pastoral care helping students thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key features include:

  • Individualised learning plans tailored to a wide range of needs
  • Specialist SEND support, including SEMH, autism, and learning difficulties
  • Inclusive, all-through provision from early years to post-16
  • Strong pastoral care and wellbeing programmes
  • Collaborative approach with families and external professionals

About the role:

You will be based in a mainstream class in either primary or secondary working 1:1 with students with special needs particularly those with Autism. You will play a key role in raising their attainment academically to help prepare them for the new academic year. Additionally, you will be given the opportunity to lead interventions and small group work for specific students that need additional support with their learning outside of the classroom.

Who this role will suit:

You will be someone with either professional or personal experience with special needs looking to take your career further within a school environment. You will be calm and resilient with a proactive approach to promoting inclusive learning for all students. If you are someone that has a genuine passion to help students with special needs, this will be the perfect opportunity for you.
