We are looking for a caring, resilient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support KS3 learners with complex needs, many of whom are working at primary level. This is more than a classroom role, it’s an opportunity to make a lasting difference every single day.
You will work closely with teachers and a supportive class team to help pupils develop confidence, communication, independence and life skills in a nurturing and highly inclusive environment. Every small achievement matters, and every day brings the chance to help a young person flourish.
The role:
- Supporting pupils with a range of complex learning needs, communication difficulties and additional needs
- Helping students access learning through creative, adaptive and personalised approaches
- Encouraging positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social development
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and families
- Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom, including educational visits and enrichment activities
- Working as part of a dedicated, compassionate team focused on breaking down barriers to learning
The school are looking for:
You do not need extensive SEN experience, full training and ongoing support will be provided. They are looking for people with the right attitude, empathy and willingness to learn.

- Resilient, positive and eager to learn
- Experienced in care, youth work, coaching, childcare or education (desirable but not essential)
