Are you a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day? Or are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant?

We are working with a number of welcoming and inclusive schools across Havering that are looking to appoint dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for September.

The role:

  • Supporting students who are Autistic, ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and more
  • Your role will include supporting pupils on a one to one basis and in small groups, helping them to access learning, build confidence and develop independence
  • You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs to deliver personalised support and create a positive learning environment where every child can thrive

About You:

  • We are looking for candidates who have a Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Previous SEND experience is desirable, but above all we are looking for individuals who are patient, adaptable, reliable and genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs

PS Inclusion - what we can give back to you:

In return, we offer long term, temp to perm and permanent opportunities across Havering, competitive rates of pay, ongoing training and CPD, and dedicated support from a specialist SEND consultant who will work closely with you throughout your placement. Some schools also offer excellent progression opportunities, including routes into teacher training for the right candidates.

If you are looking for your next SEND Learning Support Assistant role this September and would like to join a supportive school where you can make a lasting impact, we would love to hear from you.
