We're working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Ealing looking for an Autism Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated SEN Resource Base this September.
The school is passionate about providing every child with the support they need to succeed. Through personalised learning, strong pastoral care and a creative, inclusive approach, pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, resilience and independence. Staff work collaboratively within a supportive environment where professional development is valued and every achievement is celebrated.
Your role:
✅ Support pupils with Autism (ASC) on a 1:1 basis within the Resource Base
✅ Deliver engaging sensory-based learning activities
✅ Lead targeted interventions and small group sessions
✅ Promote communication, confidence and independence
✅ Work closely with teachers, the SENCO and the wider SEND team
We're looking for someone who:
✔ Has personal or professional experience supporting children with SEND
✔ Has an interest in Autism and inclusive education
✔ Is calm, patient and resilient
✔ Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
✔ Is passionate about helping every child reach their potential
