I am actively recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for a special school based in Camden, North West London. This special school supports students with a range of special educational needs, from former learners with autism to students with severe learning difficulties and students who are nonverbal
This role requires resilience and a determination to support children and young people facing greater barriers to learning than others and that need extra, specialised support.
The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant may be/have…
- Experience working with children and young people with SEND.
- An inclusive and nurturing attitude towards students with SEND.
- Comfortable with personal care of children as required.
- A degree in psychology or neuroscience (desirable)
- Comfortable working as part of a team.
