A welcoming specialist school in North London is looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated team. You'll support pupils with autism, learning disabilities and complex communication needs, helping them access a personalised curriculum in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Working alongside experienced teachers and therapists, you'll celebrate every achievement, whether it's developing communication, building confidence or encouraging greater independence.
The Role:
- Support pupils in and out of the classroom.
- Build positive, trusting relationships.
- Encourage communication, independence and social development.
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Work closely with teachers and therapists to provide consistent support.
Who We're Looking For
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, autism or learning disabilities is desirable.
- A caring, patient and positive approach.
- Someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference every day.
