A specialist school in Enfield is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from September. The school supports children and young people with Autism and associated learning, communication and social needs, providing a nurturing and personalised environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their potential.

Your Part in Their Story
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with ASC.
- Supporting pupils to access learning and engage positively in the classroom.
- Using individualised strategies to support communication, emotional regulation and behaviour.
- Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to follow EHCP targets.
- Supporting pupils throughout the school day, including during transitions and activities.
What You Will Bring
- Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND is desirable.
- An understanding of ASC and associated needs.
- A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence supporting pupils with different communication and learning needs.
- A genuine passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
