£90 - £95 Daily Rate | Long-Term with Potential for Permanent Role

We are working with a specialist SEMH school committed to nurturing vulnerable students who face barriers to learning due to SEMH challenges, and in some cases, Autism.
The school provides a therapeutic, trauma-informed setting where students are supported holistically to succeed both in and out of the classroom, and the staff work with their pupils, offering wraparound support.
About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Work 1:1 with students who need tailored support

Facilitate small group sessions to promote engagement and social skills

Collaborate closely with teachers and therapists to support academic progress

Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment

Play a key role in students' emotional regulation and daily wellbeing
About You:
-
Experience working with young people with SEMH, autism, or related needs
-
Calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to behaviour
-
Strong communication and teamwork skills
-
A genuine passion for inclusive education and student welfare
-
A background in education, youth work, psychology, or similar is advantageous.
