SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary – Hillingdon
£90 to £100 per day PAYE
Full-time, term time only

We are supporting a mainstream primary school based in West Drayton, Hillingdon who are looking to appoint SEN Teaching Assistants to work 1:1 across primary classes with students with Autism and ADHD.
The role focuses on providing tailored support to raise attainment of students who are struggling to access the mainstream curriculum. This role will suit someone who is patient, compassionate and dedicated to helping children with additional needs thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
The role:
- Provide 1:1 support for students with Autism and ADHD
- Assist with sensory-based learning activities to support engagement and regulation
- Confident in implementing strategies to manage dysregulated students
- Work alongside teachers, therapists, and the wider SEN team to support student progress
- Contribute to creating a secure, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
The ideal candidate:
- Experience supporting children with Autism and/or ADHD
- A strong passion for pursuing a career within special needs
- Comfortable managing challenging behaviours
- A calm, patient, and positive approach, with a proactive mindset towards supporting learning
- Able to commit to full-time hours, Monday to Friday from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM
- Reliable and dedicated to a long-term position where consistency and continuity are valued
