A fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate SENCo / Inclusion leader to join a primary school in a senior leadership role.
This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on support, leading SEND provision across the school while driving an inclusive culture where every child can thrive.
The role includes:
• Leading and developing SEND / Inclusion provision across the school
• Overseeing provision mapping, interventions and targeted support programmes
• Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH, vulnerable learners and disadvantaged pupils
• Managing EHCP processes, annual reviews and referrals to outside agencies
• Working closely with parents, staff and external professionals
• Monitoring progress, improving outcomes and ensuring high-quality provision
• Line managing support staff and developing staff practice through coaching / CPD
• Contributing as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
• Supporting safeguarding, attendance and pupil wellbeing
• Acting as Designated Teacher for Looked After and Previously Looked After Children
