Position - SENCO/Inclusion Lead
Location - Greenwich, South East London
Salary - MPS/UPS Dependant on Experience + SEN Allowance
Start - ASAP
As an experienced SENCO, you want to lead provision in a way that truly makes a difference. But sometimes, the environment around you can limit the impact you know is possible, this is a chance to change that.
This specialist SEND provision has been carefully designed to support both students and staff. The team is collaborative, knowledgeable, and committed to delivering meaningful outcomes for young people with complex needs. With a supportive and hands-on leadership team, you’ll be part of a culture where your expertise is valued and your voice is heard.
As SENCO within a dedicated nurture provision, you’ll provide strategic leadership for students with SEND, ensuring they make progress academically, socially, and emotionally.
You’ll lead on developing inclusive practice, overseeing EHCPs and provision mapping, and ensuring that teaching strategies meet a wide range of needs. Working closely with SLT, pastoral teams, and external agencies, you’ll bridge the gap between education and mental health support.
You’ll also guide and support staff, sharing best practice, delivering training, and ensuring a consistent, trauma-informed approach across the provision.
This is a setting where leadership actively supports staff and prioritises wellbeing. Collaboration is at the heart of the team, and there is a shared commitment to getting it right for every student. You’ll be joining a school where relationships matter, and where your leadership will have a clear and lasting impact.
You understand the complexities of SEND and the importance of strong systems, but also the human side, relationships, communication, and trust. What you need is the right environment to lead effectively.
