SEND Class Teacher – KS1 Resource Provision
Primary SEND Teacher | Communication & Interaction | Permanent
Full-time | February or April 2026 Start
MPS + SEN Allowance
Are you a SEND Class Teacher who believes that relationships come before results and that the right environment can unlock extraordinary progress?
We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming, values-led primary school seeking a KS1 SEND Teacher to lead a small resource provision for pupils with EHCPs, where the primary identified need is Communication and Interaction.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a role that offers time, trust and support to do SEND properly.
About the Role
You will be the Class Teacher for a specialist KS1 SEND provision with up to 8 pupils, supported by two experienced Teaching Assistants and ongoing professional input from an established specialist SEND school one day per week. You will work closely with a supportive senior leadership team and a growing SEND department.
The provision opened recently and is now ready for its next phase of development. You will have genuine influence over how it grows, how routines are embedded and how pupils are supported to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. There are clear plans to expand SEND provision into KS2, making this an excellent long-term opportunity for an ambitious SEND practitioner.
The School Environment
This is a school where belonging, kindness, curiosity, confidence and ambition are lived daily. SEND is not treated as an add-on but as a shared responsibility across the whole school.
Who This Role Is For
This position would suit an experienced SEND Teacher, a Resource Provision Teacher, or a Primary Teacher with strong SEND experience looking to specialise. It is ideal for someone passionate about communication and interaction needs, including autism. You will thrive in this role if you prioritise emotional safety and relationships, understand the importance of structure and consistency, value autonomy and professional trust, and are motivated by meaningful impact.
What You’ll Receive
Permanent, full-time position with Main Pay Scale plus SEN allowance. Small class size, strong Teaching Assistant support, specialist SEND guidance and opportunities for future leadership as the provision expands.
If you are looking for a SEND teaching role where you can truly make a difference and help shape a growing provision from an early stage, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. Apply now or contact Luke on luke.falzon@psinclusion.co.uk or 02030114848.
