Parker Smith Inclusion is looking for a SEND Cover Supervisor / Aspiring Teacher to work within a specialist education setting in Camden.
This is aimed at candidates who already have experience working with children or young people and are ready to move beyond traditional Teaching Assistant responsibilities.
What will the role involve?
You may support teachers while gradually taking responsibility for delivering pre-planned activities to individuals, small groups or classes.
Responsibilities could include:

Leading learning activities prepared by teaching staff

Supporting pupils to remain engaged and on task

Managing classroom routines
-
Providing SEND support where required
-
Delivering small-group interventions
-
Reinforcing expectations and boundaries
-
Adapting your communication for individual pupils

Supporting pupils who require additional structure

Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff
