We're partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Havering that's looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years SEND Practitioner to join their team this September. The school is committed to investing in great people and offers a permanent position after 12 successful weeks.
What you'll be doing
Every day is different, but every day is rewarding.
You'll support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage with a range of additional needs, helping them develop confidence, independence and a love of learning through play and meaningful interactions.
You'll be working alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals, supporting children with:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- Sensory Processing Needs
- Developmental Delay
- Social Communication Differences
Whether you're encouraging communication, supporting sensory activities, adapting learning or celebrating a breakthrough that others might miss, you'll play a key role in helping every child thrive.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children within an EYFS and/or SEND setting.
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning (Level 3 desirable).
- Is patient, nurturing and positive.
- Understands that every child learns differently.
- Loves building strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Wants to make a genuine difference every single day.
