Location: Harlesden
Pay: £90 to £110 per day PAYE depending on experience
Contract: Monday to Friday | ASAP start

Are you calm, consistent and compassionate when pupils need it most? A welcoming specialist SEN school in Harlesden is seeking a dedicated SEND Educator to support pupils who benefit from structure, reassurance and positive guidance to succeed in school.

This school supports children and young people with SEMH and additional needs across primary and secondary age ranges. You will play a key role in helping pupils regulate emotions, rebuild trust and re engage with learning within a nurturing, well structured environment.

 

The Role

  • Provide one to one and small group support focused on emotional regulation and engagement

  • Support pupils with SEMH needs using trauma informed and restorative approaches

  • Promote clear routines, consistency and positive boundaries

  • Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and the pastoral team to implement personalised support plans

  • Help pupils develop resilience, confidence and positive relationships

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, behaviour or SEND needs

  • A calm, patient and resilient approach in challenging situations

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport
