A unique specialist college located in Tower Hamlets with a breathtaking view of the city is seeking an innovative and creative SEND Job Coach to join their welcoming and inclusive team!

This college is like no other; you will be supporting independent young people aged 16-25 with ASC prepare for their next journey in employment. The students are friendly, proud and incredibly talented who are supported with fantastic employment pathways, including design internships and retail. This specialist setting implements a creative curriculum that focuses on delivering lessons such as Design, Digital Business, Creative Media, Music and Employability skills in a tech savvy environment. You will be the catalyst for preparing the learners for real-world opportunities by developing their confidence, independence and practical skills that will equip them for adulthood.

About the role

  • support students with their CVs and preparing for interviews to secure employment opportunities
  • provide 1:1 coaching that is tailored to each students communication and needs to support them with different strategies
  • support students develop transferrable skills and gain work experience
  • collaborate with local businesses to ensure inclusive work environments

This role would be perfect for innovative individuals from a creative background including Design, Textiles and Animations. A strong understanding of technology and programmes is desirable, but not essential.
