SEND Learning Support Assistant
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £95 - £105 per day PAYE
Full Time | Term-Time only
Here at Parker Smith Inclusion, we are currently recruiting for an educational setting that is based across two sites. These sites cater to both pupils and young adults between the ages of 3 – 19 years old.
Their staff work collaboratively to help support each pupil with opportunities to flourish while also receiving the highest quality of education possible within a safe and inclusive environment. This provision is currently seeking a dedicated and eager Learning Support Assistant to join their team.
This is a SEND focused educational setting, focusing on SEMH (Social, Emotional, Mental Health), Sensory and Physical needs, Communication and Learning. As an LSA you will support and take part in daily activities both in the classroom and out.
Other responsibilities in this role may be:
- Interacting and supporting pupils according in line with their individual needs
- Supporting pupils with literacy and numeracy skills
- Assisting teachers and other staff with implementing care programmes
- Supporting with intimate care where needed
