A specialist SEND school in Enfield is looking for a caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism, communication needs and complex additional needs.

The Role
You will support pupils throughout the school day by:
✅ Providing 1:1 and small group support
✅ Helping pupils develop communication and independence
✅ Supporting sensory needs and emotional regulation
✅ Using strategies including PECS, Makaton and visual supports
✅ Working alongside teachers, therapists and families
✅ Supporting EHCP outcomes and personal development
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
✅ Patient, caring and resilient
✅ Passionate about supporting children with SEND
✅ Able to build strong relationships with pupils
✅ Comfortable supporting complex needs and personal care
✅ A positive team player who wants to make a difference
Experience in SEND, autism, care or supporting vulnerable children is beneficial.
