A vibrant and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is seeking a dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join their team from September. This school places a strong emphasis on creating a supportive, child-centred environment, with well-resourced learning spaces designed to meet a wide range of needs.
In this role, you will support pupils both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, working with children who may have ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or SEMH. You’ll play a key part in helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop socially and emotionally throughout the school day.
You’ll be working collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENCo, contributing to personalised approaches that enable each child to succeed. The school is looking for someone who is calm, adaptable, and committed to making a meaningful impact, whether you already have SEND experience or are eager to build a career in education.
