SEND Learning Support Assistant
Barking & Dagenham | September Start | Temp–Perm

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham is looking to appoint a committed SEND Learning Support Assistant to join the team from September. The school has a strong focus on nurturing the whole child and provides well-resourced, supportive learning environments tailored to a wide range of needs.

In this role, you will support pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small group settings, working with children who may have ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and/or SEMH. You will play an important role in helping pupils access learning, develop confidence, and make progress both academically and socially.

Working closely with class teachers and the SENCo, you will help deliver personalised support strategies that enable each child to reach their potential. The school is looking for someone who is calm, flexible, and genuinely passionate about supporting children, whether you already have SEND experience or are looking to develop your career in education.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with a permanent contract available after two terms, offering stability for the right candidate who settles well within the school.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school that values its staff and offers ongoing training and clear opportunities for progression.
