SEND Learning Support Assistant – Year 3 & 4
Havering | £95–£100 per day PAYE - ASAP Start
We are looking for a fun, kind and enthusiastic SEND LSA to support Year 3 and Year 4 pupils at a primary school in Havering.
This role would suit someone who brings warmth, patience and a positive attitude into the classroom, and who understands the importance of building trusting relationships with children. You will be supporting pupils with ASC and ADHD, helping them feel confident, included and ready to learn, while making the school day a positive and enjoyable experience.
We are looking for someone who is confident delivering interventions such as Colourful Semantics and can make learning engaging, accessible and meaningful for every child. You should be comfortable adapting your approach to suit different needs, celebrating small wins and encouraging pupils to develop their communication, independence and confidence.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting primary-aged children with SEND, particularly ASC and ADHD.
- Is confident delivering Colourful Semantics and other targeted interventions.
- Is friendly, nurturing and able to build positive relationships with pupils.
- Brings energy, creativity and a sense of fun to learning.
- Is patient, consistent and confident supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
- Works well as part of a team and is passionate about helping every child reach their potential.
