Setting: Specialist SEND provision
Hours: Full-time
Start date: September
We are looking for Learning Support Assistants for a specialist school supporting children and young people aged 3–19 with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
You'll help pupils access learning, develop communication skills and build independence, working alongside teachers, therapists and other support staff.
The role includes:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support.

Helping pupils engage with learning and develop social skills.

Adapting activities to meet individual needs.

Supporting personal care where required.

Creating a safe, positive and supportive environment.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone patient, caring and reliable who enjoys working with children and young people. Previous SEND, SLD or PMLD experience would be beneficial, but a willingness to learn and a flexible approach are just as important.
