A nurturing primary school with an inclusive environment is seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant to join their exceptional team in September. The school has three SEND provision rooms, including sensory and outdoor learning spaces, to provide excellent tailored support for the individual needs of each child. They also have a school dog to promote enhanced well-being and emotional support for all children!
The role involves working with a small group of children, including 1:1 support, with SEND needs such as ASC, ADHD, speech and language and SEMH. You will be working closely with the teacher and SENDCO to implement strategies and promote their academic, social and emotional development.
This role would suit someone who has experience in SEND and embodies a true passion in supporting children’s milestones. If you are patient, resilient and have a positive attitude towards children’s learning, this role could be for you!
