Are you a qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day?
We are working with a number of welcoming and inclusive schools across Havering that are looking to appoint dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistants for September. These opportunities are long term with the potential to become permanent, making them ideal for candidates looking for stability and the chance to build a career within education.
You will be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and a variety of learning and behavioural needs.
Your role will include supporting pupils on a one to one basis and in small groups, helping them to access learning, build confidence and develop independence. You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals to deliver personalised support and create a positive learning environment where every child can thrive.
We are looking for candidates who have a Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification or equivalent, along with experience working with children or young people. Previous SEND experience is desirable, but above all we are looking for individuals who are patient, adaptable, reliable and genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
