Are you a patient, resilient, and caring individual looking to support young people with SEMH needs in a secondary school setting?
We’re working with a supportive SEMH secondary school in Barnet that is looking to appoint a SEND Support Worker to join their team.
The School:
This specialist secondary school supports students with SEMH needs in a structured, therapeutic environment. With small class sizes, strong pastoral systems, and experienced leadership, staff are well supported and valued.
The Role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH

Support learning, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour

Help students access the curriculum in and out of the classroom

Build strong, consistent relationships with students

Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams
Who We’re Looking For:

Experience working with SEMH, SEND, youth work, care, or mental health (school-based experience ideal but not essential)

Calm, empathetic, and resilient approach

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A genuine passion for supporting young people
