Role: SEND Teacher
Location: Greenwich
Full-time Permanent Position
Salary Ranges - £22,961 - £34,445 (Unqualified)
£28,840 - £39,174 (Qualified)
The young people who arrive at this school haven’t always had the easiest relationship with education. Many have experienced barriers that have left them feeling disconnected from learning and unsure of their own abilities, but the right teacher can make all the difference.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher who believes that education should be a place where every young person feels understood, supported and capable of success.
This is not a role for someone who simply wants to follow a curriculum. This is a role for someone who wants to reach students who may have lost faith in school and help them find it again.
As a SEND Teacher, your classroom will be a place where students feel safe to try, to struggle and to grow. You will work with young people who need a teacher who sees beyond behaviour, understands their individual needs and adapts learning so that success feels achievable.
The ideal candidate will be someone who brings both skill and empathy into the classroom.
You may be a qualified teacher with experience in SEND or alternative provisions, a mainstream teacher who has a passion for supporting students with additional needs, an educator who thrives in smaller, relationship-focused settings or someone who understands that patience, consistency and compassion are just as important as subject knowledge.
What matters most is your belief that every young person deserves a teacher who truly sees them.
If you’re ready to be the teacher who helps make them moments possible, we would love to hear from you, apply by contacting luke.conner@psinclusion.co.uk or call on 0203 011 4848 to learn more about the role we have available.
