A welcoming and well-resourced specialist SEN school in Cricklewood is seeking an inspiring SEND Teacher to lead a small autism class. You will teach a class of six pupils with autism, working across a broad range of abilities from Reception to Key Stage 2. With strong support around you, you will create a calm, structured and engaging environment where pupils feel safe, valued and ready to learn.
The Role

Teach a small autism specialist class of six pupils

Deliver a broad, adapted primary curriculum across EYFS to KS2 levels

Plan creative, personalised lessons aligned to EHCP outcomes

Build a structured classroom environment that supports routine and engagement

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and SEN professionals
-
Support communication, emotional regulation and independence
-
Foster confidence, resilience and a genuine enjoyment of learning
What the School Is Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a valid TRN
-
Minimum two years’ experience supporting pupils with SEND
-
Strong primary curriculum knowledge (EYFS–KS2)

Experience working with autism and differentiated learning approaches
-
A flexible, patient and proactive teaching style

Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills
