September 2026 | MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance | Enfield

Looking for a teaching role where you can truly make an impact every single day?

A welcoming and well-resourced specialist school in Enfield is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join their experienced team from September 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a Year 5 class of 12 pupils who are working broadly at a Year 2/3 learning level. The class is one of the school's higher-ability cohorts and follows a primary-style curriculum with a strong focus on phonics, literacy, numeracy and developing independence.

You'll be supported by an exceptional classroom team, including a highly experienced HLTA and two dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants, giving you the opportunity to focus on delivering engaging, creative lessons that inspire every learner to reach their potential.

This is a vibrant, energetic class who thrive on routine, positivity and interactive learning. The school is looking for a teacher who brings enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine passion for helping children with additional needs succeed.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS and has a Primary teaching background.
  • Can confidently deliver an engaging primary curriculum, particularly in phonics and maths.
  • Is energetic, positive and enjoys creating fun, meaningful learning experiences.
  • Builds strong relationships and has a nurturing, patient approach.
  • Is committed to helping every child achieve their individual goals.
  • Previous SEN experience is welcomed but is not essential. Outstanding mainstream primary teachers with a genuine interest in specialist education are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Receive

  • Teachers' Pay Scale plus SEN Allowance.
  • Small class sizes, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and tailor learning to every pupil.
  • Outstanding classroom support from an experienced HLTA and two SEN Teaching Assistants.
  • Excellent specialist resources and facilities.
  • Ongoing CPD and career development opportunities.
  • A supportive and collaborative leadership team that values staff wellbeing and professional growth.
  • The opportunity to be part of a school where every achievement is celebrated and every member of staff plays a vital role in changing children's lives.
