Full-Time and Long-Term Contract via PS Inclusion
Supporting children and young people with SEND requires patience, flexibility, resilience and a genuine commitment to understanding each individual pupil. No two days are the same, particularly when supporting young people with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex or dual diagnoses.
At PS Inclusion, we take a personalised approach, matching the right educator to the right school and, ultimately, its pupils.
We are currently working with an Alternative Provision (AP) in South East London seeking an engaging and dedicated SEND Teacher. The school supports pupils who may have experienced significant barriers to education, including exclusion from mainstream settings. Many pupils have diagnoses such as Autism, ADHD and SEMH, with some presenting with dual diagnoses and/or experiences of trauma.
SEND Teacher Requirements:

QTS or relevant teaching qualification, with experience in SEND, AP or specialist education.

Experience supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex needs.

An understanding of trauma-informed practice, emotional regulation and sensory needs.

Ability to adapt and differentiate learning to meet individual needs.

A calm, consistent and nurturing approach to behaviour and classroom management.

Strong ability to build positive, trusting relationships with young people.

A genuine commitment to helping pupils overcome barriers, re-engage with education and reach their potential.

We understand that pay is important, and we aim to keep it clear and straightforward.
For this reason, we only pay our staff via PAYE. The quoted rates are gross pay, and your earnings will not include the employer's National Insurance deductions or administrative fees!
Pay rates will vary depending on role requirements and your experience, but we work in line with teacher scales/
