Role - SEND Teacher
Location - Greenwich
Rate - £200 - £320 per day
As a teacher, you didn’t step into education to stay in one lane, you’re at your best when you can be creative, adaptable, and responsive to the students in front of you, not confined to a single subject or a rigid structure, this is where cross-curricular SEND teaching comes into its own.
In this specialist setting, learning isn’t separated into boxes. It’s connected, purposeful, and built around the needs of each student. As a SEND Teacher delivering across the curriculum, you’ll have the freedom to design lessons that make sense, blending literacy, numeracy, life skills, and personal development into something meaningful and engaging.
Because for these students, education needs to feel relevant. You’ll be working with young people who may have faced challenges in traditional classrooms. Some may struggle with communication, others with confidence or regulation but all of them need a teacher who can adapt, build trust, and see beyond the barriers and that’s where you come in.
With smaller class sizes, strong support from Teaching Assistants, and a leadership team that understands SEND, you’ll have the time and space to really get to know your students and teach in a way that works for them.
You don’t need to come from a SEND background, what matters is your creativity, your patience, and your belief that every student deserves an education that works for them. SEND knowledge and strategies will come with training and support along the way.
At Parker Smith Inclusion, we take the time to understand you and what you’re looking for, matching you with a school where you can thrive, not just teach. This isn’t just another teaching role, it’s a chance to teach with flexibility, purpose, and real impact every single day.
