Autism Provision within a mainstream primary school

A trust within Newham made up of two outstanding primary schools are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to support and develop their SEN provision, teaching students with autism. You will be the driving force of the autism provision, promoting inclusive learning and aspiring to make a difference to students learning.
As the SEND Teacher you will be responsible to plan, deliver and assess a high quality and engaging curriculum to meet each child's needs, you will support the TAs and their interactions with the students offering guidance when required, overseeing provision maps that are aligned with their EHCPs and be a general positive, ambitious individual.
You will have a hand in the leadership of the SEND provision, working alongside the SENCo and SLT to offer a clear and strategic direction, develop and mentor the specialist team to be the best it can be.
I'm keen to speak with experienced SEN Teachers or ECTs, all I ask if for commitment to SEND, positive personality, knowledge of autism and how lessons should be modified to meet these students needs and understanding how they require an empathetic, patient approach.
