Norwood School in Lambeth is seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to support students in either the English or Maths department. Your Role as a Teaching Assistant
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support in English or Maths lessons.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and student engagement.
- Help students develop essential literacy or numeracy skills.
- Support learners with additional needs, ensuring they have the tools to succeed.
- Encourage and motivate students, helping them gain confidence in their abilities.
What We’re Looking For
- A passion for education – particularly in English or Maths.
- Strong communication skills – to engage and support students effectively.
- A positive and proactive attitude – ready to adapt to different learning needs.
- Experience (preferred but not essential) – Previous experience working with young people or in a school setting is beneficial, but training will be provided.
