Are you a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with Autism?

Our school provides a highly structured, nurturing, and autism-specific learning environment for pupils with autism and associated needs. The school combines personalised learning, therapeutic support, sensory-informed practice, and a strong focus on communication, emotional regulation, and independence. Through a curriculum tailored to each pupil, alongside enrichment opportunities such as forest school, swimming, and community-based learning, they help young people develop the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to thrive both in education and everyday life.

What does a typical day look like?

The day begins with a staff briefing where teachers, therapists, and support staff come together to discuss the day's plans and ensure pupils are set up for success. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide consistent, individualised support throughout the school day.
